Mommy celebrated her birthday with us. Emma and I took Annya to day care. Emma had the no school today so we went shopping for Mom's gift. After we found her gift; we needed a birthday cake. We found a nice little Mexican Bakery that had great cakes. Emma and I agreed on which cake to buy. It was a good choice. Everyone loved the cake, even Mommy.

Annya worked hard at day care making a birthday card for Mommy. Emma is a great drawer but I think little Annya designed a nicer birthday card. Annya has also pleasantly surprised us with her talking skills. We know that Emma can't stop talking and Annya is the quiet one. But Annya missed a couple days of day care because she became sick. Mommy, Annya and Daddy were sitting at the kitchen table and Annya wouldn't stop talking. We then realized that Annya isn't a quiet person; Emma doesn't give her the chance to talk. Yung couldn't enjoy the good food and cake. He has been placed on a restricted diet. Next year he will be a one year old and a handful...

Happy Birthday to Mommy

Saturday, Jan. 16th, 2010, our little baby was born, 9 lbs 1 oz, 20.5''.

He is a big baby by all standards. However, when he came out, he looked wrinkled, skinny, SMALL to me. I said: what a little monkey, while the doc and nurses were claiming him as the "big baby who came out in two pushes!". Obviously a hard-to-achieve feat!

Louis is very proud of the boy, thinking he is best looking guy in the world, while I just told him that right now the baby does not belong to the beauty category yet. Not yet. For a few days, he had been incredibly red, red patches everywhere. He does have a full head of black, shiny hair.

The days after he was born were probably not days of joys. Besides having to take a million tests, being needled a couple of times a day, circumcised, diaper-changed and butt-roughed-up every a few hours, he had to use all his might to make sure he is picked up, rocked, swaddled well, and get all the milk he wanted in the world ... And he loved to curled up and sleep in my arms like a bean bag.

Fortunately he survived ...

Emma and Annya are doing fine. To Emma, this is deja-vu, she is extremely excited and proud and loving, she wrote on her blog that the baby is sweet and small (New Baby), she penned a "poem" saying the baby's head is like a ball; Annya is trying to do her best with the new arrival, her mood shifts from joyful curiosity, asking questions about milk, about my tummy ..., making fun of the baby's yucky diaper, to completely hurt: I want mommy. Mommy, hold me! Mommy, mommy ...

Love them ...

Mommy put the girls to sleep at 9:20 pm. Yung was hungry and learned quickly that Daddy didn't have any milk to give. Mommy then feed Yung and put him to sleep. I can see both girls moving around on the bed with no signs of sleep. At about 9:30 Annya walks out from the room with a big smile from ear to ear. Daddy can I have a M&M? She had just brushed her teeth; but how can you say no to a 2 year old girl that calls you Daddy? I then gave her one and had her give one to Emma.

Ten minutes later, there was still movement in the girls bedroom. It was my turn to play Mommy with the girls. I then laid in bed with the girls. Annya stared at me for about 5 minutes as to say what is Daddy doing here? She then warmed up and put her arm around me. About 15 minutes later Emma and Annya turn to each other and start hugging. Annya was the first to fall asleep. Then I remembered that Emma took a long nap in the car. Emma kept moving like a Mexican jumping bean. I couldn't tell if she was awake or asleep. Finally at about 10:30 Emma fell asleep. There was no more movement. It was time to leave the girls and clean the Kitchen.

The mouse will play, when the cat goes away.

Our new baby Yung lived up to his name. He came 13 days early and he came BIG. He tipped the scale at 9 lbs 1 oz and towered at 20.5 inches. Mom and baby are doing great. Yung does look like a yung me. Emma did ask me if I looked like that when I was a baby? I told her that I did look like a baby when I was born. 01/16/2010 hopefully will be the start of a long and happy journey for Mr. Yung.

Dad, when will the day end?
It will end tonight.
I mean, when will God stop creating people? I know that when I grow up I will have kids and my kids will have kids. When are the Aliens going to take over?
God is not going to stop creating people and Aliens will never take over us.
I know we are here with other creatures but are there any Aliens?
For now it is just us, Scientists are still looking for other signs of life.

Anyone out there?
